Mythics are powerful items, which changes and improves your special skills, talents or even gives you a new resource system. They are obtainable by socketing the right combination of 4 Mythstones into an item.



How to create Mythics

The item must have at least 4 sockets. You can get it by slaying monster or using 4 Zircon on the item. Some Mythics requires a specific armor for crafting it. The exact requirements of existing Mythics are bellow. Once you have placed the required Mythstones into the sockets, the item turns to purple. The 4 Mythstones and sockets are consumed due this process. You can add Angelite (for epic or normal affixes), Topaz (Epic affix), Ruby (Legend affix), Amethyst (Set affix), Obsidian (Crystal affix) or sockets with Zircon.

Resource System Mythics

There are special types of Mythics, which allows you to change your MP pool to something else or allows you to add additional powerful effects to your existing HP/MP pools. They can be applied on any piece of armor. Only one equipped Resource System Mythic will work at once, so be careful to only use one at a time.There are 6 Resource System Mythics:

  • BloodMagic
  • Equivalence
  • Fury
  • Energy
  • Discordance
  • Alchemy

Mythic receipt list

This is a list of all Mythics in DQ. There is also a list with descriptions in the Codex. You can get a hint of the receipt by using Mythstones into an item. The rarer the Mythstone, the higher the chance you will unlock a hint. Each time you use a Mythstone you have a chance to randomly unlock a hint. The rarer the Mythstone, the higher the chance you will unlock a hint.

Automatically recover 25% hp when you suffer a hit that would kill you. This effect may occur once every 30 sec.

Losing HP or MP reduces HP or MP depending on which is highest. Gaining HP or MP restores HP or MP depending on which is lowest. +% DMG dealt is equal to half your lowest current HP% or MP% while %DMG takent is equal to half your highest current HP% or MP% Any Protest Wisdom Abyss Return
